Brad Wolverton, MBA, Staff Accountant Brad Wolverton, a staff accountant with Chester M. Kearney, joined the firm in February, 2009. He specializes in helping small businesses with all aspects of their accounting, operations, and taxes. He works on various audits for non-profits, 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, governmental entities, and financial institutions. He also prepares small business compilations, reviews and works on agreed-upon procedures for credit unions. Brad graduated from the University of Maine, Orono with a B.S. in Business Administration and holds a Masters in Business Administration from Everest University. After leaving Orono, he went to work for a recruitment and employment firm in Boston. In 2002 the firm moved him to Fort Lauderdale where he became the accounting manager. In 2006 the company sent him to New York City to help start a new office. After three exciting years as a workaholic in the city, Brad decided to slow it down and get back to "the way life should be". Brad resides in Presque Isle with his wife Hollie Gowen, their dog, Sage and their two cats, Trinity and Minerva. He is a member of the Kiwanis, Momentum Aroostook and The Friends of the Central Aroostook Humane Society. He serves on the board of the Aroostook Red Cross, is a member of the Finance Committee for the Pine Tree Chapter of the Red Cross in Bangor and has served on the Allocation Committee for the United Way.
